CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Continuous Professional Development or CPD is a commonly used term to describe activities that help us learn and develop - strengthening our progress in our discipline and careers.

The recommended annual CPD points is 30.

CDP points are units that quantify the time and quantity of learning and development (L&D) activities.

You can get CPD points for;

Learning through practical work - ie partnership sessions.

Learning through relationships - developing through networks and relationships with the group and community.

Learning through formal training - learning through Activation, Attunements, Formal training within the Manual, Practitioner day, Mentor and Master roles.

Record your points - With the date and what you have learned,  in a document titled Personal Development Plan PDP. A PDP is found at the back of the Practitioners Manual (feb 2023 edition)
