Nia Dance (with Oonagh)
Nia is a barefoot, holistic movement practice that blends dance, martial arts and healing arts. It supports strength, flexibility and overall body conditioning, while also uplifting the mind and emotions.
Founded in 1983, Nia is guided movement set to music, with an emphasis on joyful, self-expressive dance. It’s suitable for all fitness levels — you’re encouraged to move in a way that feels right for your body, with options to adapt throughout.
No experience necessary — beginners welcome.
If you are a beginner, please arrive 5 minutes early to complete some administration paperwork.
Sound Bath (with Beth)
Beth will invite you to drop deeper into relaxation with a colour meditation, gently guiding you into stillness and ease.
Beth will use a range of instruments — including her voice — to support relaxation and the release of whatever you’ve been holding, so you can leave feeling more peaceful, grounded, and spacious.
Each sound bath is different. It can help you let go of stress and emotions held in the body, and surrender into deeper coherence between body, mind and Soul.
Caution
Caution is advised if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, experience vertigo, or are sensitive to sound. Please seek advice from your doctor or medical professional to confirm whether a sound bath is suitable for you.
The transition (11:00–11:30am)
There is a 30-minute transition between Nia and the sound bath so you can move slowly and settle.
While you are dancing, you can keep your sleeping bag, blankets and cushions in the coat hanger area (opposite the toilet). Once the movement finishes, you’ll have time to collect your things, choose your spot, and get comfortable. You can continue relaxing while everyone settles and anyone joining for the sound bath arrives.
